This car began life as an IMSA racer in 1974. Sadly, after its racing career had ended, it fell into disrepair and was essentially abandoned. Kevin Jeannette of Gunnar Racing found it in 2001, and brought it back to life over the course of several years. The restoration is covered in depth here, and a 2004 Panorama article showcased the fruits of their labor.
Nearly 15 years later, the car is back in Kevin's hands once again for refurbishment.
